Halfway between Aix-en-Provence and Saint-Maximin, the Château des Ferrages is one of the four fortified places that have marked the history of Pourcieux. Typical of Renaissance buildings, flanked by a large wooded park, it dominated the village. History has taken with it a large part of the building, leaving only a tower and some architectural remains. But his most precious treasure is undoubtedly the winery that bears his name.
From these 28 hectares come four cuvées, preciously aged in the cellar of Château des Ferrages. This cellar, with an area of more than 1000 m2, combines modern winemaking techniques and traditional aging. Its wines, Côtes de Provence and Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire, are regularly rewarded in competitions and cited in reference guides.
