"In the glass the wine is reassuringly dark yet vibrant with a light rim as you swirl the glass. The nose is full and perfumed with a decadent succulent fruit aroma. Presently the acidity of this wine is still at the fore, although nicely balanced against the remaining supple tannins. There is a precision to this wine, clean and focused with blackberry, a hint of spice and towards the end a little creaminess adds to the finish.

A red that is drinking its own, but even better paired with lamb or a rib of beef. As for timing, I am more than happy to open a bottle now, but without doubt this has plenty to offer as it develops in the bottle over the next 5-7 years plus!" Tasted MD AUG24
