Redbreast 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 1

Redbreast 10 Year Old Cask Strength has been reimagined by Master Blender Billy Leighton and Blender David McCabe to mark the 30th anniversary of its re-birth. The traditional pot still distillates are expertly blended with oloroso sherry butts and bourbon casks, resulting in a whiskey that embodies the flavours of yesteryear. 

There were only 7,000 bottles produced of this highly rated & much sought after release from the Midleton Distillery.

Nose: Expertly blended notes of tropical fruits and red berries are enhanced by fragrant herbs and warm wood spices. Subtle hints of vanilla and rich treacle toffee balance out the toasted oak undertones.

Palate: Indulge in a luscious combination of ripe stone fruit and summer berries, perfectly balanced with a hint of chili oil for a delightfully textured experience. Complemented by notes of cherry menthol, vanilla, cinnamon, and a touch of toasted oak, this whiskey also offers a flavourful kick of red pepper and nutmeg.

Finish: An impressively balanced blend of flavourful fruits and spicy wood notes, deserving of a voyage spanning almost 30 years.
