Pierre Jourdan Ratafia NV

From the Cabriere estate comes the Pierre Jourdan range. Pierre Jourdan Ratafia NV. A most unusual sweet aperitif made from Chardonnay & fortified with Fine de Jourdan Potstill Brandy. The brandy flows through leaving a surprisingly dry finish. Ideal with rich pate or spicy hors d'oevres.

These full bottles were from the 2008 bottling in full 750ml format. The further 10 years ageing have produced a fantastically complex wine with flavours of caramel and ripe apricot. Tasted 2018.
