Very dense ruby, almost black in the core. Warm-looking nose, definitely southern, ripe dark fruit, plum compote, cloves, dried flowers, oregano, very good complexity. Lush prelude, here is some meat on the bone, finest, very distinctive tannins, rather deep acidity, the structure carries the sweeping fruit, actually rather a fruit concentrate, the wine is enormously concentrated, a little too powerful for my taste, qualitative but flawless and with a very beautiful, fruity-spicy finish.
