Gaja Pieve Santa Restituta Brunello di Montalcino 2012

Mid ruby with some signs of age. Quite opulent Sangiovese nose with hints of tobacco. Seems already quite developed but shows real breeding. A little rich, dense and with fantastic acidity. Modernist, skilful, but big. (WS) Walter Speller
