Eden Mill St. Andrews Single Malt Whisky 2018

The Eden Mill Single Malt 2018 Release is the first in an annual series which will build over the coming years released on St Andrews Day.

The golden-amber expression comes from a mix of golden promise and propino barley strains and represents the ultimate blend of some of the best ‘honey’ casks Eden Mill’s distilling team have chosen.

Delicate on the nose, with a light, straw-like character alongside a soft, vanilla / candied barley-sugar sweetness and a hint of hazelnut. Sweet and juicy, with notes of peach and plum. Sherry influence is most noticeable here, with a light, fruitcake character along with sweet, oaky-vanilla. Remains light, with a candied sweetness, yet bringing in a delicate spice and hints of dried plum / raisin.
