Casa Emma Soloio IGT 2009

A Supertuscan wine from Casa Emma in Tuscany, made using 100% Merlot to produce this remarkable wine. It has an intense deep ruby colouration, with aromatic notes of blackberries and raspberries on the nose. On the palate the Merlot provides roundness with silky tannins and lingering succulent red fruit and spices. The wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels to add complexity and depth.
