Drink like Royalty!

Have you ever wondered what it's like to attend a state banquet at Buckingham's Palace? Last night, King Charles and Queen Camilla opened the doors of the grand ballroom to 170 distinguished guests for a lavish evening of fine dining and entertainment.

What's on the Menu?

The royal chefs have prepared a sumptuous three-course meal fit for a king - or in this case, a king and queen. The guests will be treated to a halal menu featuring Windsor pheasant, Cornish lobsters, and a refreshing Balmoral plum sorbet. Each dish has been carefully crafted to showcase the best of British cuisine and to cater to the dietary preferences of the esteemed guests.

Who's in Attendance?

Among the guests are the Emir of Qatar, who is on a special two-day visit to the UK. The Emir will be joining King Charles in delivering speeches to the dignitaries from both countries gathered in the palace's ballroom. Also in attendance are Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, the Prince of Wales, and celebrity guests David and Victoria Beckham. The atmosphere is sure to be buzzing with excitement and anticipation as the evening unfolds.

Entertainment Fit for Royalty

As the guests indulge in the delectable dishes, a live string quartet will serenade them with classical music, creating a sophisticated and elegant ambiance in the ballroom. The combination of exquisite cuisine and enchanting music sets the stage for an unforgettable evening.

Decadent Desserts and Fine Wines

To conclude the evening on a sweet note, guests will be served an "Iced Bombe with Organic Samoan Vanilla Ice Cream and Balmoral Plum Sorbet" for dessert. This exquisite treat, paired with a selection of fine wines, promises to be the perfect ending to a truly regal feast.

The wine list includes Chapel Down Grand Reserve 2018 and Chateau Lynch Bages, Pauillac 2000.
